Folk Art Bread Basket

We are offering an unusual basket - appears to be a bread basket - for your dining table. This is a wooden basket made of individual pieces that have been strung together with red heavy string.

 Folk art styling and handpainted. Interesting, detailed cutouts throughout. No markings but I came across another one awhile back that had been marked Italy. It's 9" across. The condition is VG-excellent - a few surface scratches but nothing serious.  A nice addition to any dining or occasional table.
