Antique Lusterware

We are offering a vintage, pre-WWII teapot from Japan. This is a full-size piece, 7" tall and 9 1/2" from spout to handle. It's a wonderful example of lusterware. Iridescent coloring with a floral design. 

 The condition is "almost perfect" - quite a feat for its age. There is a very small indentation on the spout - I really don't think its a chip since it's finished with the same lusterware glaze finish. More probably a production flaw. Not at all noticeable but worth a mention. Otherwise, excellent all around. A wonderful old piece for your curio or occasional table. If you appreciate the look of lusterware, don't miss it.
