A beautiful example of Pennsbury Pottery of Morrisville, PA. This is a Railroad Plaque, one of nine produced in the 50's, each picturing a different and celebrated old locomotive.  Here we offer the Lafayette  locomotive used by the Baltimore and Ohio R.R. 1837. This wonderful piece is 7 1/2"  x 5  1/2", hand produced and hand painted. Produced in hard ceramic and featuring colors of green, brown and black. It features a relief, 3D design. There are two holes in the back for hanging. The condition is excellent all around. We think this is a special addition to any Pennsbury collector and will have a real value to the collector of railroad memorabilia.
